An all-star ensemble of 12 prominent musicians from the local scene, together creating a contemporary musical language and uncompromising artistic quality, with a unique sound that has captivated audiences in Israel and at major festivals worldwide.

Founded in 2003, the Israel Jazz Orchestra serves as a creative hub for 12 of Israel's top musicians. While the band uses a classic big band structure, the music goes far beyond the traditional sound, combining modern styles, global colors, and original Israeli compositions.

The Orchestra's live performances are energetic and full of surprises. With 12 unique players on stage, every show features high-level teamwork alongside brilliant individual solos.

Over the years, the Orchestra has performed on major stages and festivals in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and South Africa. The ensemble is well-known for its unique arrangements and collaborations, working with legendary Israeli artists and international jazz icons, including: Chava Alberstein, Yoni Rechter, and Shalom Hanoch, Oz Noy, David Sanchez and Avishai Cohen (trumpet).
